Hunt Hard · Eat Wild
Our Story

Built for those who live it

FieldBourne Outdoors is built for those who live by one simple philosophy: Hunt Hard. Eat Wild.

We are a community-driven brand that celebrates the full outdoor experience—from the adrenaline of the hunt to the satisfaction of turning wild game into unforgettable meals. Adventure, skill, and authenticity are at the heart of everything we do.

Whether it's tracking game in the backcountry, mastering waterfowl hunting in the marshes, or testing gear in real-world conditions, FieldBourne Outdoors is committed to sharing knowledge, inspiring exploration, and helping others connect deeply with the land and the animals that inhabit it.

We believe hunting is more than a sport—it's a way to challenge yourself, cultivate respect for nature, and embrace the lessons it teaches. And when the hunt is over, the journey continues in the kitchen, where wild game is transformed into field-to-table culinary experiences that honor the hard work, skill, and tradition behind every harvest.

Chef Joe Bonavita
Chef Joe Bonavita has been hunting and exploring the outdoors his entire life. From childhood fishing trips with his father and grandfather to early mornings in the marsh chasing waterfowl, Joe learned patience, respect, and the thrill of the hunt. He fell in love with archery and bow hunting, and elk hunting became a particular passion—testing endurance, strategy, and precision. Joe constantly pushed himself in the field, learning lessons the hard way and gaining the knowledge he now shares with others. Alongside his outdoor pursuits, Joe discovered a love for cooking, earning a degree from Le Cordon Bleu and honing his craft in Michelin-starred restaurants and acclaimed South Florida venues. Now based in Colorado, he merges fine-dining expertise with wild game, creating field-to-table experiences and educating others on the connection between food, nature, and craftsmanship.

Nic Black grew up in South Texas, between whitetail ranches and the Texas coast. Hunting and the outdoors were never a trend—they were a way of life. He studied at Texas A&M while guiding waterfowl hunts and building habitat, and later served in the U.S. Army, earning his Green Beret and Special Forces Tab. Nic applies the discipline, resilience, and high-performance standards from his military and outdoor experiences to every adventure, sharing practical insights and real-world knowledge that help the community explore, learn, and thrive in the field.

Trey Brooks
Trey Brooks grew up in Katy, Texas, immersed in a life shaped by the outdoors. From an early age, he learned what it meant to respect the land, pursue wild game, and value the traditions that come with it—whether chasing whitetail in the fall or waterfowl at first light. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, Trey is the President and co-founder of Brooks Construction Group, LLC. In construction, he built a reputation as a trusted luxury residential builder throughout the Houston area. The same discipline, precision, and work ethic required to build from the ground up are the traits that define him in the field. After college, Trey's pursuits expanded far beyond Texas, chasing wild game across North America and spending countless days offshore out of Tiki Island, Texas. An avid fisherman, he's most at home hunting wahoo and tuna in deep water, where preparation, grit, and adaptability matter most. Whether on land or at sea, Trey thrives under pressure and embraces whatever challenge the wild presents.
